Yusha Party o Tsuiho Sareta Shiro Madoshi, S-Rank Bokensha ni Hirowareru: Kono Shiro Madoshi ga Kikakugai Sugiru (The White Mage Who was Banished From the Hero’s Party is Picked Up by an S-Rank Adventurer: This White Mage is Too Out of the Ordinary) anime has revealed a new visual, along with a 2025 release date. Studio Felix Film is handling the animation, with Hiroshi Tamada as the director.

Hidefumi Kimura will be in charge of the series composition, with Yuta Ito as the character designer. The anime was announced in July this year, and is adapting the light novel series by Sora Suigetsu (story) and by DeeCHA (illustrations).

The series first began serialization on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website in March 2020, with Futabasha acquiring it in November 2020. They have published six volumes as of February 2024, with Volume 7 set to release on November 29, 2024. A special illustration by DeeCHA has been released to commemorate the anime announcement:

There is also a manga adaptation by Wasabi Mukuno. It began in January 2021 and is serialized on Futabasha’s Gaugau Monster website. Seven volumes have been released so far. The manga artist also drew a special illustration for the announcement:
