Blue Box Anime Reveals New Key Visual, Exclusive Simulcast on Netflix From October

Blue Box anime revealed a new key visual at Anime Expo 2024, along with announcing an exclusive simulcast on Netflix starting in October. Studio Telecom Animation Film is animating, with Yuichiro Yano as the director.

The visual features the main trio of Taiki, Chinatsu, and Hina, who will be the center of the story. The voice cast for the Blue Box anime includes:

  • Shoya Chiba as Taiki Inomata
  • Reina Ueda as Chinatsu Kano
  • Akari Kito as Hina Chono
  • Chiaki Kobayashi as Kyo Kasahara
  • Yuma Uchida as Kengo Hanyu

The main staff also includes Miho Tanino as the character designer and Yuko Kakihara in charge of the series composition. You can watch the latest trailer for the anime below.

Taiki Inomata loves badminton, but he has a long way to go before he can reach nationals. When Taiki sees upperclassman Chinatsu Kano practicing her heart out on the girls’ basketball team, he falls for her hard. After an unexpected turn of events brings the two closer together, sports might not be the first thing on their minds anymore!

Blue Box is based on a manga by Koji Miura. The series was originally published a one-shot in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump in 2020, while regular serialization began in April 2021. VIZ Media is publishing it in English.
