LiSA’s theme song for Demon Slayer the Movie: Infinity Train, Homura, has won a “Song of the Year” reward. The reward was given at the 62nd Japan Record Awards. Moreover, the Demon Slayer series was also awarded “Special Achievement” for the success it had. We are truly amazed by how many achievements Kimetsu no Yaiba series managed to get this year!

On December 30, 2020, from the winners listed above, one from each category will be chosen to get another award of even higher importance. According to the official twitter, the anime film is still the 3rd highest grossing film in Japan of all time. It mobilized over 17 million spectators and earned over ~23.3 billion yen (approximately ~$223 million USD) and is now even closer to the top. Homura is obviously very popular as well, so we can’t wait for the Demon Slayer movie to come overeseas!
