Demon Slayer is currently one of the most talked about things everywhere, and obviously Japan will be its center. With the Infinity Train film close to becoming the highest grossing film of all time there, Kyoto will feature a multitude of Demon Slayer events through Winter. Three companies are collaborating with the franchise, and fans will be able to enjoy different activities. The official visual for the event:
The most interesting to me is probably the theme park at the Toei Kyoto Studio Park in Ukyo Ward. Fans can take a picture with famous boulder there. In addition, there is also a replica of the Butterfly mansion where the Hashiras gathered. Tanjiro’s voice is the guide, and there are games where fans can play and win prizes.
The Kyoto Railway Museum will exhibit trains from the Taisho era, which will be modified to look like the Infinity Train from the film. Fans will be able to ride it for 1 kilometer, also guided by Tanjiro’s voice.
At the Arashiyama Line in Kyoto, there will be four trains with “Demon Slayer Kyo no Work 2” headmarks. The station will also feature Demon Slayer patterns on the first floor, as well as decorate the third floor with wisteria flowers, which demons hate in the story. From the first day of the event, a limited number of artificial wisteria flowers will be given to fans, which they can place around themselves.
There will also be foods, sweets and drinks based on the franchise:
There are mini illustrations of the characters as well. They are supposed to give the fans a feeling of traveling through Kyoto together:
The Demon Slayer events in Kyoto will run from December 26 this year to March 14, 2021. Another interesting spot for the fans!
