Blue Box anime will officially stream on Netflix this year, while the anime previously revealed an October 2024 premiere in Japan. Studio Telecom Animation Film is animating, with Yuichiro Yano as the director.
The main staff also includes Miho Tanino as the character designer and Yuko Kakihara in charge of the series composition. You can watch the latest trailer for the anime below.
The voice cast for the Blue Box anime includes:

- Reina Ueda as Chinatsu Kano
- Akari Kito as Hina Chono
- Chiaki Kobayashi as Kyo Kasahara
- Yuma Uchida as Kengo Hanyu
Blue Box is based on a manga by Koji Miura. The series was originally published as a one-shot in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump in 2020, while regular serialization began in April 2021. VIZ Media is publishing it in English, describing the story:
Taiki admires Chinatsu from afar, but he doubts that she sees him in the same way. Yet somehow, he musters up the courage to tell her to never give up on her dreams! After such a bold declaration, will Taiki’s fleeting high school romance finally begin?
