Konami Digital Entertainment has announced that Yu-Gi-Oh! will be part of the new “cards and boards” area at Gamescom 2024, one of the world’s largest gaming events. Yu-Gi-Oh!‘s booth will be present in Hall 5.2 from August 21 – 25 and will be bigger than in previous years. You can still get your tickets for Gamescom (stylized as gamescom) 2024 here.
Some of the attractions at Yu-Gi-Oh!‘s booth at gamescom 2024 include exclusive merch, like the 2-Player Game Mat, and playthrough opportunities on Yu-Gi-Oh! MASTER DUEL and Yu-Gi-Oh! DUEL LINKS, the latest Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG (Trading Card Game) products, and photo booth opportunities. Dedicated experts will be on hand to reintegrate players who have spent a long time out and initiate first-time Yu-Gi-Oh! players through the new 2-Player Starter Set. As with every year, perhaps the highlight of Yu-Gi-Oh! @ gamescom is the numerous tournaments. You can check them out below.

Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG Showcases the 2-Player Starter Set and Various Tournaments at gamescom 2024
Yu-Gi-Oh! tournaments at gamescom 2024:
- Rescue the Rabbit! – An already very popular tournament format, introduced at last year’s German National Championship. Participants compete against Special Duelists, and if they beat all three, they can enter a raffle to win an adorable Rescue Rabbit plush.
- Time-Wizard March 2010 – Only Decks with cards released before March 2010 are allowed in this tournament, one that is always very much in demand by the community. The winner gets the special “Time Wizard Game Mat”.
- Further tournaments – From 21-25 August, Duelists can take part in a variety of other Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG tournament events at the booth. These include Duel the Master and King of the Hill. 8-player Game Mat Challenge tournaments will also be available on demand.
