Mission: Yozakura Family anime introduced additional voice actors and characters joining the cast following the premiere of Episode 21, including Akira Ishida, Chiaki Kobayashi, and Ami Koshimizu. Studio SILVER LINK is animating, and the anime is streaming on Hulu in the US and Disney+ worldwide. It is set to run for a total of 27 episodes. You can see the new characters below.

A young man with extremely high self-esteem, who runs the globally popular toy manufacturer PoPoPPo. Behind the scenes, he runs a crime consulting company, with major illicit activities including weapons, counterfeit money, and missile production. He has his sights set on becoming Mutsumi’s husband.

A Laid-Back Young Man with Cooling Powers
A member of the Nijibana Rainbow Flowers of Tanpopo, a fully compatible Hazakura user. His Hazakura output efficiency is 366%, ranking 5th within the organization. He can release cooling gas from his body, allowing him to make it snow or freeze his opponents. His real name is Ryo Aoyanagi.
Ami Koshimizu as Akai
Flame User Cloaked in the Flames of Hatred
A member of the Nijibana Rainbow Flowers of Tanpopo, a fully compatible Hazakura user. Her Hazakura output efficiency is 512%, the highest within Nijibana. She controls a flame that burns everything it touches. Born as Miki Akasaka, she was once an ordinary high school girl who lost her family to an arsonist.
They also introduced two new characters without revealing their voice actors.
Kurosawa
A Former Death Row Inmate Who Lacks Fear of Death
Another one of the fully compatible Hazakura users in the Nijibana Rainbow Flowers. His Hazakura output efficiency is 501%, ranking 2nd in the organization. His entire body is made of an organic alloy which can change shape through electrical muscle stimulation. His real name is Yoshimasa Kuroda and he has an extreme lack of the fear of death.
Cha-Cha
The Brain of the Tanpopo Base, Controlling All Systems
A fully compatible Hazakura user in the Nijibana Rainbow Flowers. His Hazakura output efficiency is 398%, ranking 4th within the organization. Despite having a brilliant mind from a young age, no one noticed his abilities because he could not communicate. He is known for making condescending remarks and looking down on others.
Mission: Yozakura Family is a Japanese manga written and drawn by Hitsuji Gondaira. It has been serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump since 2019. VIZ Media is publishing the manga in English, while Hulu describes the story:
A family far from ordinary?! High schooler Taiyo Asano, the ‘Ultimate Introvert’, lost his family in a tragic accident. The only one he could speak to is his childhood friend, Mutsumi Yozakura who harbors a wild secret as the heir to a spy lineage. Her brother, Kyoichiro, a skilled spy, targets Taiyo. The anime recently entered the top 10 in our latest weekly ranking after Episode 20.
