Season 2 of MF Ghost has released a new visual and trailer ahead of its premiere on October 6. The new trailer also features the ending theme “Side U (Prod. AmPm)” by Himika Akaneya. Felix Films is returning to animate the sequel under the direction of Naka Tomohito.
The first season of MF Ghost aired from October to December 2023 for 12 episodes. The key staff members have returned as well, including Ken’ichi Yamashita as the screenwriter, Naoyuki Onda and Chiyoko Sakamoto as the chief animation directors, Naoyuki Onda as the character designer, and Seiko Akashi as the art director. The anime’s main voice cast features:

MF Ghost is based on a manga written and illustrated by Shuichi Shigeno (the author of Initial D). It started serializing in Kodansha’s Weekly Young Magazine in September 2017 and currently has 20 volumes out. The story takes place after Initial D and focuses on the future in which electric cars have become an everyday sight.
