The upcoming You Are Ms. Servant anime has revealed details on its theme song ahead of its premiere on October 5. Studio FelixFilm is animating the series, with Ayumu Watanabe as the director. The opening song is titled “Otosori” by tricot, while the ending theme is “Hyojo Sabun” by DUSTCELL.
Deko Akao is in charge of the series composition, Tomoyasu Kurashima is designing the characters and Masahiro Tokuda is composing the music. The main cast for the anime consists of the following members:
- Reina Ueda as Yuki/Xue
- Toshigi Kumagai as Hitoyoshi Yokoya
- Hikaru Iida as Riko Yokoya
- Lynn as Grace
- Konomi Inagaki as Naka Hikage
- Eriko Matsui as Agemochitaro
You Are Ms. Servant (Kimi wa Meido-sama) is based on a manga series written and illustrated by Shotan. The first compilation volume was released on October 2020, while the latest (eight) one was released in August this year. The manga is serialized in Shogakukan’s Sunday Webry website.
Shogakugan Asia has licensed the manga in English, describing the plot as:
This is the story of a maid who is all alone in the world, but who finally finds a family.
Told from a young age that her only worth is as a killer, Yuki had known nothing else except cold efficiency and following orders. Now that she has a chance to leave her past behind, she arrives at the doorstep of Hitoyoshi Yokoya, asking to be employed… as a maid?! Thus begins the journey of a former assassin learning what it means to be ‘normal’!
