Shadow the Hedgehog manga, first announced in August this year, also coincides with the upcoming Sonic the Hedgehog 3 film this December. The third film of the series will also focus on Shadow the Hedgehog, who is voiced by Keanu Reeves. The original Sonic the Hedgehog game series was first released in 1991 for the Sega Genesis. Since then it had developed multiple platformers, most of which are created by Sonic Team; spin-offs in the racing, fighting, party, and sports genres. In addition, the series also includes merchandise lineups, animated films, feature films, and printed material.
