Episode 7 of Horimiya released on Saturday, and it featured many beautiful scenes again! We already got to see some more serious development for the main couple. Miyamura went away for 5 days, and it hit Hori way harder than anyone expected. The fact his phone died made it worse, and she got extremely lonely. However, the thing I loved most was the fact that Tooru has 2 potential love interests now. Yuki seems to like him but her personality won’t allow her to admit it, which leaves room for Sakura to make her move.
Well, this was really an accident, but she did start baking him cookies afterwards and formed a somewhat closer relationship. It was sad to see Yuki’s struggles with getting what she wants, but Sakura is also nice for Tooru. It will be interesting to see what happens, but it’s all good as long as he gets over Hori and finds some luck. Meanwhile, Hori bumped into Miyamura just as he was heading to her after he returned, and the two shared “a moment”. Shortly after, they watched a movie and Hori tried to act scared:
When Miyamura went outside to look himself in the mirror, Hori also felt bad and went to cry about not being cute. Miyamura the chad went to comfort her and convince her otherwise. One thing led to another, and Souta ended up thinking he’ll lose his sister. Luckily Miyamura just wants Kyouko, so everyone will be happy in the end. Unless she accidentally bites his neck off.

In case you’re somehow here without knowing what it is, read the story and maybe give it a shot:
Kyouko and Izumi are two classmates who each lead a double life: the popular and talented Kyouko cares for her little brother by herself while her parents are away, and the quiet, bespectacled Izumi hides his many piercings and tattoos at school. After accidentally discovering each other’s secrets the pair becomes fast friends, and together, they begin to navigate their new relationship together amongst unknowing peers and love rivals alike.
