Attack on Titan: THE LAST ATTACK movie revenue has exceeded 1 billion yen (~$6.65 million) at the box office, and the opening scene was released to commemorate the milestone. The anime movie was originally planned to only run for 3 weeks from November 8, though the extended the screening period was extended due to the successful run. Special ‘crying screenings’ were also announced, with planned dates being December 4 (yesterday) and December 11.
The opening scene of the movie features Mikasa and Eren at the beginning, before moving to the Ramzi’s scenes with Eren and the Rumbling. You can watch it below.
Studio MAPPA animated it, with Yuichiro Hayashi as the director. The theatrical release is a compilation of the Final Chapters specials, and it features improved cuts and 5.1ch surround sound. Fans in Japan have praised the movie, with many opting to watch it multiple times. A new post-credit scene was also added, adapting the Attack on School Castes spin-off.
Besides the director Yuichiro Hayashi, the main staff for Attack on Titan: THE LAST ATTACK includes Hiroshi Seko on the series composition Tomohiro Kishi as the character desiger. The main voice cast includes:

Studio MAPPA handled the animation for Attack on Titan from Season 4 onward, taking over WIT Studio that was in charge of the first three seasons. The anime adapted the manga by Hajime Isayama, which ran in Kodansha’s Bessatsu Shonen Magazine from September 2009 until April 2021. Kodansha USA licensed the manga for an English release.
