Kaede Hondo (Maple in BOFURI, Elaina in The Wandering Witch) previously voiced Lumitea in numerous trailers. She commented on the announcement:

“Hello, Masters! This is Kaede Hondo, the voice of Lumitea in ARCANADEA! Congratulations on the decision to adapt ARCANADEA into an anime! This adaptation is a result of the love and support shown by everyone who has enjoyed the series so far. As someone who has been involved as Lumitea’s voice in the original PVs and YuruKana [Laid Back Arcanedia, a motion comic], I’m overwhelmed with emotion!

For those of you who are already familiar with ARCANADEA, I’m sure you know a lot about Lumitea, but as shown in YuruKana, she still has many sides to her character. From her unique personality to her brave and determined moments fighting for her mission… I’m hoping the anime portrays a cool Lumitea who can even protect her Masters! I can’t wait to see it!”
