Garena Free Fire is launching its ‘biggest anime collaboration’ yet with Naruto Shippuden, running from January 10 to February 9, 2025. The crossover will include new gameplay features, collectibles, and event missions inspired by the popular anime series.

Players can already log in to Free Fire to collect a free Hidden Leaf Village Headband and Banner, with more rewards to be released during the event’s duration.

New Gameplay Features

Explore the Hidden Leaf Village in Bermuda

In the Battle Royale mode, players will start in the Hidden Leaf Village, which will replace the Rim Nam Village. Naruto fans will recognize Hokage Rock, Ichiraku Ramen Shop, Hokage Mansion, Exam Arena, and even Naruto’s House, allowing them to experience the Naruto universe in-game. Eating at Ichiraku Ramen will provide a match-long EP auto-grow buff.

Nine Tails Strikes Bermuda

During the Battle Royale drop sequence, players will experience a Nine Tails attack, where the beast can strike either:

  • The airplane, causing turbulence before jumping.
  • The arsenal, changing the loot spawn points.
  • The ground, causing environmental hazards that affect battle strategies.

Revival & Jutsu-Based Combat Mechanics

Players who get revived will return via the Summoning Reanimation Jutsu, which will have them re-enter the game with better default gear. Jutsu-based combat will be introduced through Ninjutsu Scrolls, which include projectile-based jutsu that destroy enemy Gloo Walls and charged jutsu that deal direct damage. Additionally, themed airdrops will be featured in the Clash Squad mode, adding more mechanics based on Naruto.

Exclusive Naruto Collectibles

Players can also get character outfits inspired by Naruto Uzumaki (with Sage Mode and Kurama Link Mode variations), Sasuke Uchiha, Kakashi Hatake, Jiraiya, and Sakura Haruno. Weapons include an M4A1 rifle with Naruto theming and a Katana modeled after Orochimaru’s famous Snake Sword.

For customization, new Gloo Walls featuring Hokage Rock, a Ninja Scroll-themed backpack, and a Nine Tails-inspired Skywing and arrival animation will be available.

Emotes will bring classic Naruto movements into the game, including the Ninja Run and the first-ever Super Emote in Free Fire, which allows players to summon Gamabunta in non-combat situations.

Special Event: Defend Bermuda from Nine Tails

Throughout the event, players will be able to complete missions to earn exclusive Naruto-themed rewards. The Jiraiya Bundle is the grand prize, while completing additional challenges can unlock a Naruto Battle Card. On January 18, players will have a chance to obtain the Sasuke Bundle by collecting event vouchers.

Garena Free Fire can be downloaded on both the Apple iOS App and Google Play store.
