Emaqi Announces Official English Release of Dealing with Mikadono Sisters Is a Breeze Manga

Digital manga platform emaqi, operated by Tokyo-based startup Orange Inc., has added the Dealing with Mikadono Sisters Is a Breeze romantic comedy manga to its English-language catalog. Originally published by Shogakukan, the series is now available in English for the first time as part of emaqi’s initiative to “add 100 never-before-translated manga series to the app by the end of 2025.”

The manga follows Yu, a high school student who begins living with three talented, self-sufficient sisters. Despite their differences, the group develops increasingly close and emotionally complex relationships. An anime adaptation is set to premiere on Crunchyroll on July 9 as part of the Summer 2025 season.

Volumes 1 and 2 are available now and can be read for free on emaqi through August 10, 2025, as part of a limited-time promotional campaign.

Orange Inc. launched emaqi in September 2024, offering a catalog of over 6,000 manga volumes from 13 publishers, including partnerships with Shonengahosha, Futabasha, and Akita Publishing. The platform also acquired licensing from Kodansha USA and Shueisha, the latter allowing them to co-release Shonen Jump+ one-shots alongside MANGA Plus.

At launch, the company stated it would use AI-assisted translation to support its in-house team of roughly 20 human translators. While the majority of the work was to remain manually translated, Orange set an internal cap of no more than 10% of content being translated by AI, citing a focus on balancing speed and quality.
