Reiji Miyajima, the author of both Rent a Girlfriend and The Shiunji Family Children, drew a special illustration featuring the heroines Banri and Chizuru. The anime adaptation of The Shiunji Family Children anime just finished, while Rent a Girlfriend is coming back with Season 4 as part of the Summer 2025 lineup.

Reiji Miyajima has been drawing Rent a Girlfriend manga since July 2017, with 40 volumes published as of April 16, 2025. It is serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine, while Kodansha USA publishes the manga in English. The story follows Kazuya Kinoshita, a college student who turns to a rental girlfriend service after being dumped by his real girlfriend. He then meets Chizuru Mizuhara, and what begins as a business arrangement soon leads to a complicated relationship which has still seen little progress since its beginning.
The Shiunji Family Children has been serialized in Hakusensha’s Young Animal magazine since February 2022, with seven volumes published as of May 29, 2025. Yen Press has licensed it in English. The story follows the Shiunji family, a family of of two sons and five daughters who live a rich life thanks to their father. The eldest son, Arata, is constantly teased by his sisters, but he still values family over all else. However, their father reveals that they aren’t really related and starts a romantic drama between the characters.
