Manabu Otsuka, the president and CEO of anime production company MAPPA (Chainsaw Man, Jujutsu Kaisen, Attack on Titan: Final Season), has confirmed that there are plans for the anime after the upcoming Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc, but is remaining tight-lipped about them for now.
Speaking to Screen Rant at Anime Expo, Otsuka was asked whether the events of the Reze Arc film would be reformatted as a TV anime or if it would jump to the next arc. He replied:
“We obviously are thinking about it. We have plans for what we want to do after the film. We really can’t say. We do have something in mind. We do have the best way of doing whatever comes next, but we really can’t say.“
