JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean TV Anime Announced

After over a year and a half, “JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure” TV anime is coming back with Part 6: Stone Ocean. There are not many details at this point, except that Jolyne will be voiced by Ai Fairouz. She previously voiced Hibiki Sakura in the Dumbell anime, Valkyrie in Cautious Hero, along with some more roles. The key visual:

The announcement came at the special event “JOESTAR: THE INHERITED BLOOD” where all the voice actors of all 5 JoJos from the anime so far were present. They voiced the fan favorite scenes live, and at the very end confirmed the new sequel. There is also an announcement trailer for the Part 6 anime, introducing Jotaro’s daughter Jolyne:

The manga by Hirohiko Araki started in 1987 and is still ongoing. There is a total of 129 tankobon volumes at the moment, and it’s currently at Part 8: Jojolion. Once again, the part that will be getting an anime adaptation next focuses on Jotaro’s daughter Jolyne Kujo.

Set in and around the maximum-security Green Dolphin Street prison in Florida, surrounded by palm trees, swamps, and man-eating alligators, this storyline stars Jolyne Kujo (Stand: Stone Free), the daughter of Jotaro Kujo. After being falsely accused of a hit-and-run automobile accident, she is sentenced to 15 years in jail, a plot which may be orchestrated by some dark conspiracy, some unknown enemy.

“JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure” is one of the classics, and this special event might be the perfect time to announce a new anime. One of the biggest meme sources could definitely use some more material! There will be a global livestream for select countries featuring English subtitles. They include the USA, Singapore, Thailand, South Korea, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan.
