Crunchyroll, in collaboration with Sony Pictures Entertainment, announced the launch of Crunchyroll Anime Nights, a monthly theatrical initiative set to begin this fall in the United States. The program was unveiled during San Diego Comic-Con 2025.
The series of screenings will take place on the third Monday of each month, featuring a mix of fan-favorite anime films, curated television episodes, anniversary events, and exclusive previews from Crunchyroll and Sony’s anime libraries. The initiative aims to create a recurring community experience for anime fans on the big screen.
The rollout begins in October 2025 in over 225 theaters nationwide, including locations operated by AMC Theatres, Regal, Cinemark, Alamo Drafthouse, Harkins Theatres, and Landmark Cinemas.
