“My Hero Academia” Season 5 released episode 91 this Saturday, and we finally got to kick-off the Class A vs Class B fight, as well as see Shinso! Before we got there, we saw Midoriya talking with All Might about the vestiges. He said he talked with the first holder, and the former Number 1 hero seemed surprised. Apparently he’d met them before, but didn’t go as far, and it will be interesting to see what else Deku can learn from his predecessors.
After the talk, they saw Aizawa with Shinso, after which they went to the training grounds. Introducing their interview outfits, we saw some cool additions. Bakugo got mad that Deku praised his, while Deku himself got new gloves. Uraraka blushed when he said Hatsume made them, while the rest was excited for the fight. Class B made their way and we saw all the students named. The highlight was the introduction of the special guest, Hitoshi Shinso. He wants to transfer to the Hero Course, and will fight a round with each of the classes.
For Class A, he fights in the first round, and already shows his new skills. He can use his mask to create a fake voice to trick people, and he does it brilliantly against Class B. He calls it “Persona Cords”. Although they got jumped on, Shinso managed to salvage the situation, and we’ll see the fight continue next week. In round 5, he’ll fight for Class B, and it will be against Deku’s team.
My Hero Academia Episode 91 is already available on Crunchyroll. For the continuation, we have to wait for “Make it Happen, Shinso!” next week, and we’ll likely see more of his new skills. He seems to have been trained personally by Aizawa, so you bet he’ll be using the Capturing Weapon!
The synopsis of the story goes:
What would the world be like if 80 percent of the population manifested extraordinary superpowers called “Quirks” at age four? Heroes and villains would be battling it out everywhere! Becoming a hero would mean learning to use your power, but where would you go to study? U.A. High’s Hero Program of course! But what would you do if you were one of the 20 percent who were born Quirkless.
