Video Episodes launched on August 18, 2025, with the goal of introducing a new way to experience familiar stories while appealing to watch-first audiences. This format allows readers to enjoy Webcomics enhanced with sound effects, motion, background music, and voice acting. As of December 18, 2025, WEBTOON has expanded the initiative with four additional series released in the Video Episodes format, including:
WEBTOON has also introduced a new Watch tab in its latest update, featuring a dedicated space for video content such as Featured videos, Episodes, and Trailers. This update streamlines the viewing experience by placing all video-related content in one centralized location. If you have not already done so, updating the WEBTOON app will ensure access to these new features.
