Publisher TOKYOPOP released ALIEN STAGE: The Art Book on March 3, bringing the art and production materials of the Korean animated web series to English-speaking audiences for the first time.

The hardcover art book gives an extensive look at the world of ALIEN STAGE, featuring illustrations, concept art, and behind-the-scenes materials related to the sci-fi musical series. The 320-page collection also features the story’s settings, character relationships, and production notes, along with commentary and interviews from the creators VIVINOS and QMENG.

Originally released as an animated web series, the book is described:
ALIEN STAGE presents a dystopian future where human contestants are raised as pets by aliens and forced to compete against each other in a singing competition. The loser of each round of the competition is killed — usually onstage and in front of the winner — after their loss. The dramatic setup of the series introduces elements of tragic romance, as the main characters have all known each other since they were children and harbor secret feelings for one another.

The series has attracted millions of views on YouTube and its music has accumulated millions of streams on Spotify.

ALIEN STAGE: The Art Book is available in both Standard and Deluxe editions. The Standard Edition has a retail price of $49.99, while the Deluxe Edition is priced at $59.99. The Deluxe version includes an 88-page drawing book featuring sketches from the creators, six full-color character prints, a holographic foil poster, and gilded holographic foil page edges.
