Hello, I Am a Witch and My Crush Wants Me to Make a Love Potion anime revealed a teaser visual on Saturday. The series is scheduled to premiere in 2026. The staff and cast are yet to be revealed.
The anime is based on a novel written by Eiko Mutsuhana. It originally began as a web novel, serialized on the online publication platform Shosetsuka ni Naro from April 2019 to March 2020. Futabasha under its M Novels f imprint acquired the title and published it as a light novel featuring illustrations by Vient between October 2019 and March 2020. The series received a manga adaptation illustrated by Kamada in August 2020 on Kadokawa’s KadoComi service under its Flos Comic label.
Cross Infinite World is publishing the light novel in English, while Yen Press is in charge of releasing the manga in English. The latter describes it as follows:
After Harij accidentally drinks Rose’s love potion, he confesses his feelings have always been romantic and asks for her hand in marriage! The reality that her crush isn’t one-sided sweeps Rose off her feet—but a witch is hardly suited to be engaged to anyone, let alone a nobleman like Harij. For now, she moves into his estate as his fiancée for her protection, where she’ll begin a new life as his guest of honor. However, as soon as she gets to the mansion, she’s mistaken for a servant and promptly put to work!
