HIDIVE has confirmed that it will stream the uncensored “Cho-Yowayowa” (TV-MA) version of the Yowayowa Sensei anime starting April 11, 2026, at 9:00 AM EDT (13:00 UTC).
Yowayowa Sensei‘s production committee had announced that the upcoming series would actually have three versions: an “On-Air” censored version for TV and various streaming platforms, a less censored “Yowayowa” version, and the uncensored “Cho-Yowayowa” version on TV station AT-X and streaming platforms AnimeFesta, d Anime Store, and DMM TV.
You can check out Yowayowa Sensei‘s recently revealed opening and ending themes by Daoko and the ensemble character voices of Hiyori Hiwamura, Mizuki Mukubayashi, and Yuki Yukishita, respectively. Hiroshi Ishiodori (An Archdemon’s Dilemma: How to Love Your Elf Bride; Futari Ecchi) directs Yowayowa Sensei at Brain’s Base.
HIDIVE will stream the series alongside four other anime this spring, including its latest reveal, Kirio Fan Club, all of which are set to be previewed at Anime Boston. Yowayowa Sensei is officially described:
High school homeroom teacher Hiyori Hiwamura is known as the “Scary Teacher,” and if you offend her, she’ll put a curse on you! Or at least that’s what everyone believes. She’s secretly a total softy who’s deeply misunderstood, and once you see her sweet side, she’ll put a different kind of spell on you… Unfortunately, one of her students, Akihito Abikura, has accidentally discovered her secret.
