STEEL BALL RUN Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure will not be releasing a new episode this week, contrary to many fans’ hopes that the anime series would air weekly starting from March 19.

While the series may still air weekly, as with Crunchyroll’s Fate/strange Fake, which released a special followed by the first episode over a year before its weekly run started in January 2026, Netflix notoriously streamed JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean in three batches.
As for Steel Ball Run‘s current production progress, like many series after their first episode’s debut, it’s still being worked on. In response to a question about when fans will see more episodes, co-director Yasuhiro Kimura told Anime Trending, “I want to see it soon, too! When will it be? I don’t know. It takes a lot of time to make just one episode, but production is going smoothly, and I’m looking forward to seeing the finished episode as much as you are!“
STEEL BALL RUN JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure (Part 7) debuted on March 19, 2026, with a 47-minute special. The dates for upcoming instalments are yet to be announced. You can check out the staff and latest trailer here.
