Devil May Cry Season 2 Reveals Animated MV for New Single by Papa Roach

Devil May Cry Season 2 revealed an animated music video featuring a new single “See U in Hell” by Papa Roach ft. Hanumankind. The sequel is set to release exclusively on Netflix on May 12, 2026. Papa Roach’s “Last Resort” was previously used in a trailer for Season 1.

The first season of the animated series was released on Netflix on April 3, while the sequel announcement came just a week later. The project was first announced in September 2023 as “an anime series from Capcom, Studio Mir & Adi Shankar.”

Series creator Adi Shankar previously commented on his mission for the upcoming season earlier this week, while a key visual and main trailer were revealed last month. You can watch the new MV below.

DEVIL MAY CRY Season 2 – Animated Music Video Featuring “See U in Hell” by Papa Roach ft. Hanumankind

Devil May Cry is a popular action-adventure and hack-and-slash game franchise created by Hideki Kamiya and developed primarily by Capcom. The series follows Dante, a demon hunter with supernatural abilities, as he fights demons that threaten humanity. The voice cast includes:

  • Hoon Lee as White Rabbit
  • Kevin Conroy as VP Baines
  • Chris Coppola as Enzo

The game series originally debuted in 2001 and has since expanded to include six mainline entries:

In addition to the main entries, the franchise has had multiple remasters, special editions, and collections, including Devil May Cry HD Collection and enhanced re-releases of Devil May Cry 3Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition, and Devil May Cry 5: Special Edition.

The series already has one anime adaptation by studio MADHOUSE, which premiered in June 2007. It has 12 episodes and focuses on Dante’s daily life as a demon hunter.
