Attack on Titan Café Opens in Tokyo With New WIT Studio Illustrations

Written by Marko Jovanovic

A new Attack on Titan themed café will open in Tokyo, Japan from September 3 to October 12, 2026, featuring newly drawn illustrations by WIT Studio, themed food and exclusive merchandise. This is the project that was previously teased by the studio.

Titled Attack on Titan Café: Adolescence Dinner, the collaboration is themed around the characters going through “that kind of phase,” referring to adolescent or chunibyo-style behavior. The new artwork by WIT Studio, which animated Seasons 1 through 3 of Attack on Titan, uses a “Last Supper” before battle as its concept.

The featured characters include Eren Yeager, Mikasa Ackerman, Armin Arlert, Hange Zoe, Levi Ackerman and Erwin Smith. The cafe menu includes character-inspired pita sandwiches, desserts and drinks, alongside dishes referencing scenes and imagery from the series.

Exclusive merchandise using the new illustrations will also be available, including randomized acrylic keychains and acrylic mini figures featuring six designs, as well as complete sets.

The cafe will be held at BOX cafe&space Lumine Est Shinjuku 2 in Tokyo from September 3 until October 12. Reservations opened on today on the official cafe website.

Hajime Isayama wrote and illustrated the Attack on Titan manga, which was serialized in Kodansha’s Bessatsu Shonen Magazine from September 2009 to April 2021. Its chapters were compiled into 34 volumes. The TV anime adaptation was animated by WIT Studio for the first 3 seasons, after which MAPPA took over. The anime ran for a total of 94 episodes, with the final episodes (88-94) streamed as the two Final Chapters specials.

The Final Chapters were compiled into the THE LAST ATTACK movie with improved visuals and sound. It premiered in Japan on November 8 to mostly positive reviews, also introducing a new post-credit scene. The movie exceeded 1 billion yen in revenue on December 5, with international screenings starting in early 2025. Crunchyroll began streaming the movie on April 17, 2025.

Producer Tetsuya Kinoshita recently teased new upcoming projects for the anime, including plans for new films and collaborations. The franchise recently also got a special visual by MAPPA for the studio’s 15th anniversary, along with confirming new animation for the upcoming Attack on Titan 3 game.
