In the tweet, he also thanks all the readers for the support. He notes that it’s the 4th anniversary for Kanokari and that he drew the Chizuru illustration. In addition, he asked what they think about his manga series.
The “Kanojo, Okarishimasu” (Kanokari) anime was incredibly well received by fans back in its 1st season. Naturally, it did especially well in Japan, which is why it comes as no surprise that there were plenty of events to celebrate it. It was reportedly even among the most popular shows in Japan at one point during the first anime. It was an adaptation of Miyajima Reiji’s manga series of the same name, which was first serialized on July 12, 2017.
Kanokari will have a season 2, and it will officially premiere some time in 2022. There are no other details about the anime or release date as of yet. However, we can already assume Kazuya will still be the same, and that the girls will be the carry of the whole thing. With the 4th anniversary behind it, we can just enjoy the Chizuru illustration and await the Kanokari anime’s return.
