My Hero Academia Celebrates Anime Arc Climax and Movie Release With a Web Special

The official Twitter account for “My Hero Academia” announced that they will release a new web special. It will premiere on August 7, 2021, at 17:30 JST on TOHO animation’s YouTube channel. The special will celebrate the release of “My Hero Academia: World Heroes’ Mission,” and the climax of the “Endeavor Agency Arc” in season 5 of the anime adaptation.

You will be able to watch the “My Hero Academia” web special below once it comes out:

Moreover, episode 19 of “My Hero Academia” season 5 will premiere a week later on August 14, 2021. The delay is caused by the broadcast of the Tokyo Olympics 2020 currently ongoing in Japan. During the date on which episode 19 would’ve normally premiered, the “My Hero Academia” web special will be available on YouTube.

What is My Hero Academia

In case you don’t know what “My Hero Academia” is about, you can read Funimation’s synopsis below:

Izuku has dreamt of being a hero all his life—a lofty goal for anyone, but especially challenging for a kid with no superpowers. That’s right, in a world where eighty percent of the population has some kind of super-powered “quirk,” Izuku was unlucky enough to be born completely normal. But that’s not enough to stop him from enrolling in one of the world’s most prestigious hero academies.
