Attack on Titan The Final Season Part 2 is airing in January 2022, the official website for the series confirmed today. Before the new, 76th episode, a special OAD omnibus will air. The new OAD will summarize the story from the perspectives of different characters such as Levi, Annie, and Mikasa.
The official website for the Attack on Titan anime also released special messages from the director of the anime, Yuichiro Hayashi, and Yuki Kaji, the voice of Eren. Hayashi’s message is talking about the upcoming climax as well as the challenges the team is facing. However, he says they are looking forward to seeing how they turn out. Yuki Kaji had a Eren-like message: “If you don’t fight, you can’t win”.
Voice actors from the anime and anime staff made comments about the upcoming Part 2. Yuki Kaji tweeted saying that “dubbing is progressing”. Yui Ishikawa (Mikasa) also tweeted saying she was excited about playing her role, while also praising the recent Attack on Titan Orchestra Concert:
The first part of Attack on Titan’s final season aired in Winter 2020. Studio MAPPA produced the anime, taking over from Studio WIT who did the first 3 seasons.

Attack on Titan manga also recently ended – with the final volume that came out in Japan in June this year.
