Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest started serialization in Magazine Pocket in 2018. Hiro Mashima, the mangaka of the original Fairy Tail, is writing the story and storyboards, while Atsuo Ueda is the artist. Ueda tweeted about the upcoming adaptation:
Kodansha published the manga in English and describes the plot as:
Natsu, Lucy, Happy, Erza, and the whole Fairy Tail guild are back in action! And they’ve decided to tackle the “100 Years Quest”—a job no one’s dared take on since the founding of the guild more than a century ago. A mysterious town, a baffling spirit, a ghastly new enemy … and a brand new continent to explore. When you’re with real friends, the adventures never stop!
Fairy Tail manga ended in 2018, with the final season of the anime airing from Fall 2018 to Fall 2019. Another manga by Hiro Mashina, EDENS ZERO, is also currently airing in anime form.
