“That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime” Episode 47 is out! Well well well, how the “turntables” have become for the poor Clayman. (Ba-dum-tss.) He faces humiliation and an instant defeat! The satisfaction of seeing this Marionette Master realizing his failures is just pure joy for me. Ha-ha-ha!
First, he lost his companions. Second, Milim reveals that there was never a mind-control. Following that is Frey’s betrayal and Carrion’s appearance. Lastly, there’s Shion kicking him around! The fact that the fearsome Shion could beat him into pulp is silly too. He even confessed it all when he ugly-panicked. Oh Clayman, you poor thing. Unfortunately, he very much deserved it, don’t you agree?
I think it’s obvious to say that Veldora is such a comic relief! I couldn’t help but laugh out loud when he was shouting those power manga/anime moves. It sort of brought me back to when I was younger — too excited and playful about these fictional characters. (Don’t deny it, we all did the move!) Veldora is definitely my favorite part about this episode. It really made my day!
Raphael’s interactions with Rimuru were also silly and cute. In addition, the Demon Lords are surprisingly casual about all this! Another thing I also enjoyed is the fact Rimuru is much taller than Milim now. Looking back, Rimuru did start out really small and child-like. Now, he looks very handsome (and beautiful, yes I said it) and very badass as a Demon Lord.
Aside from the Moderate Clowns, we also see a glimpse of how much of a villain Yuuki Kagurazaka is. This is really interesting because his character is proving to be a mastermind behind the scenes — scheming, manipulative, and evil. Unlike Clayman, he succeeded in his goal of reviving Demon Lord Kazaream. We discover that he wants to “take the world,” but why? Hmm…
Anyway, the development in “That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime” Episode 47 has been really good. I love how the reveals came out, the flow of the stunning animation, plus the comical moments too. This week was an awesome episode! It’s not surprising, though, that Clayman has a revived “final form.” In fact, I’m happy to see this because Rimuru himself gets to beat him up! It’s time for Rimuru’s payback time. The next episode is surely going to be a good one!
