Leo Demonheart, the protagonist of I’m Quitting Heroing anime has received a character trailer. The fantasy TV anime premieres in April 2022. You can watch the video below:
Lili (CV: Hitomi Owada), one of the characters in the anime is narrating the video. Kensho Ono is voicing Leo Demonheart. Kaede Hondo, Tetsu Inada, and Shizuka Itou are also starring in the anime.
EMT Squared is animating the adaptation of the light novel. The studio previously worked on titles such as Assassin’s Pride and Drugstore in Another World: The Slow Life of a Cheat Pharmacist. Hisashi Ishii is directing, while Yuki Nakano is doing character designs. In addition, Shigeru Murakoshi is doing series composition.
I’m Quitting Heroing
Quantum launched I’m Quitting Heroing web novel series on the Kakuyomu website in January 2017, and it is still ongoing. Fujimi Shobo started serializing a light novel adaptation in December 2017, which is currently on its 3rd volume. Kadokawa’s Young Ace Up website also started serializing a manga adaptation in May 2018. Kadokawa is also publishing the series in English.
After saving the world, the strongest hero Leo became someone who is not wanted in the peaceful human world. He was too strong. Exiled, he seeks a job at the Demon King’s Army, which he had defeated and needs to be rebuilt. The Army had many problems: too much work, financial troubles, etc. Leo starts to make things better using his power. Leo encounters Echidna again, and asks her why she invaded the human world. There was an unexpected story—!
