Shikimori's Not Just a Cutie Gets TikTok and New Visual Ahead of April 9 Premiere

The Shikimori’s Not Just a Cutie anime is now officially on TikTok. At the same time, a new key visual has been revealed ahead of the anime’s premiere on April 9.

Shikimori’s TikTok account currently features only two clips. One of them is the official trailer, while the other is a clip that features Shikimori (voiced by Saori Onishi). The announcement was promoted on the official Twitter:

Studio Doga Kobo (Plastic Memories) is animating the anime series, while Ryota Itoh (My Senpai is Annoying) is directing. Yoshimi Narita (DAKAICHI) is working on the series composition and Ai Kikuchi (Sleepy Princess in the Demon Castle) is in charge of the character designs. The anime will be available on Crunchyroll and Muse Asia. Crunchyroll describes the plot of the series as:

The anime is based on Keigo Maki’s Shikimori’s Not Just a Cutie manga series. Kodansha has been serializing it since February 2019, and it currently has 12 volumes with more than 3 million copies in circulation. Kodansha USA is also publishing the manga series in English.
