Kadokawa To Open An Anime Themed Hotel In Japan


Kadokawa announced that an anime themed hotel inspired by different anime franchises will open on October 1, 2020.

Called the “EJ Anime Hotel“, it will open its doors in Tokorozawa Sakura Town in Tokorozawa CitySaitama Prefecture. The acronym EJ stands for Entertainment in Japan. The concept they give to future customers is: “Stay in your favorite story”. Moreover, there will be complex facilities with spaces for events, shops, restaurants and museums, as well as a new Kadokawa office.

There is a total of 33 quest rooms. Including suites, rooms with a western design and Japanese-style rooms. All the rooms are equipped with a projector and a large screen. They also have high-quality sound bars and lighting to provide an incomparable new experience.

The hotel restaurant, titled “Tiam”, will have a capacity of 60 people and will also offer meals inspired by different anime franchises. This room can additionally be used as an event area for weddings or celebrations. Also, various mechanisms and surprise elements have been implemented in places such as elevators, the lobby and other locations.

The price for 1 night/2 meal plan per person is 19,800 yen ~ (tax excluded). That is roughly $190. At the time of its opening, the hotel will have a collaboration with the following anime franchises:
