Saori Hayami Tests Positive for COVID-19

Voice actress Saori Hayami known for the roles of Yukino Yukinoshita (SNAFU: My Youth Romantic Comedy Is Wrong, As I Expected) and Yor Forger (Spy x Family) tested positive for COVID-19, her voice talent agency I’m Enterprise announced on August 1. The statement says the voice actress tested positive for COVID-19 today and will receive advice from the health center and medical organizations. She is resting and her condition is being monitored.

Saori Hayami is playing the role of Yuri in The Maid I Hired Recently Is Mysterious this season and her co-actress Rie Takahashi, who voices Yuri’s maid Lilith, also tested positive for COVID-19 on July 22; she resumed working on August 1.

Saori Hayami was born on May 29, 1991, and is known as Hayamin among her fans. In addition to Yukino Yukinoshita and Yor Forger, she has voiced Shinobu Kocho in the Demon Slayer series and Yumeko Jabami in Kakegurui. The 31-year-old is currently also voicing Yamato in One Piece and Ruby Rose in RWBY: Ice Queendom. In the game industry, she has played the roles of Kaede Takagaki in THE iDOLM@STER series and Ayaka Kamisato in Genshin Impact.
