The Reincarnation of the Strongest Exorcist in Another World (Saikyo Onmyoji no Isekai Tenseiki) revealed a new trailer, along with January 7 premiere. Studio Blanc is animating the adaptation. Opening theme song “Reconnection” by Angela can be heard in the trailer.
The cast includes Nene Hieda as Amu, Azumi Waki as Efa, Yumiri Hanamori as Seika Lamprogue, and Yuichiro Umehara as Kuga Haruyoshi. Gakuto Kajiwara is voicing Cecilia, Kaede Hondo is Fiona, Rina Sato is Rize, Yui Ogura is Yui and Yumiri Hanamori is Seika. Akari Kito, Nene Hieda, and Azumi Waki are performing the ending theme song “Link.”

Nobuyoshi Nagayama is credited as the chief director, with Ryosuke Shibuya as the director. Toko Machida is doing the series composition Masayoshi Kikuchi and Sayaka Ueno are in charge of the character designs. Arisa Okehazama is composing the music.
The anime is based on Saikyou Onmyouji no Isekai Tenseiki: Geboku no Youkaidomo ni Kurabete Monster ga Yowaisugirundaga light novel series written by Kiichi Kosuzu. The series was originally published on Shosetsuka ni Naro and was later picked up by Futabasha. The first volume of the light novel was illustarted by Shiso, while Kihiro Yuzuki took over for the second and onwards. A manga adaptation with Toshinori Okazaki art is currently ongoing on Futabasha’s Gaugau Monster website. It has not been licensed in ENGLISH.
The novel tells the story of Haruyoshi, the strongest onmyouji practitioner in the world. After being abandoned by everyone, he attempts to do a secret reincarnation spell and is reborn in another world, but with no magic abilities. Soon he declares he doesn’t need magic and decides that he is satisfied with his new life, while using his onmyou arts to get youkai to follow him.
