The upcoming series Tomo-chan Is a Girl has revealed the cast and staff of the English dub and will be available on Crunchyroll starting on January 4, 2023. Caitlin Glass will act as the ADR director for the dub and the English cast includes:
- Lexi Nieto as Tomo Aizawa
- Ricco Fajardo as Junichiro Kubota
- Jād Saxton as Misuzu Gundo
- Sally Amaki as Carol Olston
- Christopher Llewyn Ramirez as Tatsumi Tanabe
- Ciarán Strange as Kosuke Misaki
The series will also receive German, French, and Russian dubs at a later date.
Studio Lay-duce is producing the anime based on the manga by Fumita Yanagida. Hitoshi Nanba is directing the series with Megumi Shimizu as the scriptwriter. Shiori Hiraiwa illustrates character design and Masaru Yokoyama is composing the music. The series previously revealed a trailer and key visual and the Japanese cast composes of:
- Rie Takahashi as Tomo Aizawa
- Kaito Ishikawa as Junichiro Kubota
- Rina Hidaka as Misuzu Gundo
- Sally Amaki as Carol Olston
- Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Tatsumi Tanabe
- Kouhei Amasaki as Kosuke Misaki
Sally Amaki is voicing Carol in both the original Japanese and the English dub.
Crunchyroll describes the synopsis of the series as:
Tomboy Tomo couldn’t have picked a more awkward high school crush ’cause it’s on her childhood friend, Junichiro, but he only sees her as one of the guys. Despite her pretty looks and signals, nothing gets through to this meathead! Will Junichiro ever realize Tomo’s into him and see her for the cutesy girl she actually is?!
