We’re all doing what we can to level and get ready for the story to continue. It’s finally happening on November 11, and miHoYo has released the Genshin Impact Patch 1.1. notes. It begins at 6AM (UTC+8) and downtime will be 5 hours long. The players will get 60 Primogems for each hour (so 300 Primogems total).
So here’s a summary of what’s coming in Genshin Impact Patch 1.1:
New characters and weapons
5-star Character – Childe: Tartaglia (hydro) will be the five star character in the next wish banner. Three 4-star characters will also have their pull rates increased. They are Beidou, Ningguang, and another new character – “Kätzlein Cocktail” Diona (cryo). Their event is called “Farewell of Snezhnaya” and will last until December 1st. After that banner, the next 5-star Character will be “Vago Mundo” Zhongli. In the banner, which will happen after the Childe one, 4-Star Character “Blazing Riff” Xinyan will also have an increased pull rate. Znongli also has a character tale video:
There will be an event wish “Epitome Invocation” which will also last until December 1st. During this time, the event-exclusive 5-star weapon Memory of Dust (Catalyst) and the 5-star weapon Skyward Harp (Bow) will have their drop-rates greatly increased. Vortex Vanquisher (5-Star Polearm) and The Unforged (5-Star Claymore) are coming in a later banner. Royal Spear (4-Star Polearm) is being added into the Starglitter Exchange (shop).
New quests
New Archon Quest – the main story continues with our meeting with Niunggang. It’s the Archon Quest Chapter 1: Act III – A New Star Approaches and will be available after the update.
New Story Quests – Monoceros Caeli Chapter: Act I – Mighty Cyclops’ Adventure! will be available after the update. It involves a kid and Ruin Guards. Another quest titled The Story Quest Historia Antiqua Chapter: Act I – Sal Flore will be coming at a later date. No details about it yet.
New World Quests – miHoYo listed 7 quests [The Adventurers’ Guild’s Affairs, Necessary Procedures, Words Worth Their Weight in Mora, Changchang’s Little Friend, The Secret of Nantianmen, An Ode to Yonder City, and Endless Research], all of which will be available after the update.
New events and systems
Titled “Unreconciled Stars”, the new event will have ‘Peculiar meteorites are descending upon Teyvat, bringing a rare sleeping sickness with them’. It will last until November 30th, and 2 more events will be added later (‘The Gliding Challenge’ and ‘While It’s Warm’).
New Systems – There is a City Reputation System coming for AR25+ currently divided into Mondstadt Reputation and Liyue Reputation. Players will be able to collect new quests and bounties from NPCs in the areas. As you increase your Reputation Level, you will unlock special city features, recipes, gadget blueprints, namecards, wind gliders, and other rewards.
Exploration Progress System – a way to see how many things are left to find in a particular zone. It will be easier to find stuff we missed in certain areas.
Other New Content
Gameplay – Two new recipes (Wanmin Restaurant: Triple-Layered Consommé and Wangshu Inn: Bamboo Shoot Soup) will be added. They are also adding new harvestable items (Bamboo Shoot and Golden Loach) and a new monster (Unusual Hilichurl).
System – KEY REBINDING is finally coming. Also a way to set default camera distance, a report option in coop and way to lock equipment so you don’t accidentally use it for enhancing.
