Oshi no Ko episode 8 preview images and trailer have been released on Tuesday. The upcoming episode titled “First Time” is scheduled to air on Wednesday, June 7. It will be available to stream on HIDIVE, Ani-One Asia ULTRA, Bilibili, and Netflix. Check out the preview images:
Daisuke Hiramaki (Selection Project) is directing episode 8 of Oshi no Ko with Jin Tanaka (Laid-Back Camp) writing the scripts. Studio Doga Kobo (Shikimori’s Not Just a Cutie) is animating the anime with Kanna Hirayama (Rent-a-Girlfriend) adapting the character designs from the manga written by Aka Akasaka (Kaguya-sama: Love is War) with illustrations done by Mengo Yokari (Scum’s Wish).
Oshi no Ko cast consists of Rie Takahashi as Ai Hoshino, Takeo Otsuka as Aquamarine Hoshino, Yurie Igoma as Ruby Hoshino, Megumi Han as Kana Arima, Manaka Iwami as Akane Kurokawa, Rumi Okubo as Mem-cho, and Lynn as Miyako Saito.
Bilibili describes the plot of the series as follows:
In the entertainment industry, lying is the weapon. Every day, Goro, an obstetrician and gynecologist who works in a small city, leads a life unrelated to the entertainment business. Yet, the idol Hoshino Ai that he “followed” started to move up the list of stars. Such two realized their worst-case scenario, and from that point on, the wheels of fate started to turn.
The anime aired a special recap episode last week featuring the voice actors of the Hoshino twins, Takeo Otsuka and Yurie Igoma.
