A Couple of Cuckoos Season 2 Unveils Episode 2 Preview

A Couple of Cuckoos Season 2 unveiled the preview images and trailer, along with the synopsis and main staff working on episode 2 titled, “Onii Confessed to You, Right?” Yuki Iwasaki is directing and doing the storyboard while Jou Aoba is writing the script for the episode, set to release on Tuesday, July 15. Kyoko Chika and Sachiko Mori are the chief animation directors.

The synopsis of the episode is as follows:
In front of Erika, Hiro is suddenly whisked away!? Hiro is taken back to her own home. Determined to change her fate, Nagi heads for the Meguro Myojin shrine. There, he suddenly remembers the day he first met Hir.

Studio Okuruto Noboru is animating the sequel, replacing studios Shin-Ei Animation and SynergySP. The main cast includes:

• Akari Kito as Erika Amano
• Kaito Ishikawa as Nagi Umino
• Nao Toyama as Hiro Segawa
• Konomi Kohara as Sachi Umino
• Hina Youmiya as Ai Mochizuki 

Crunchyroll and Bilibili are streaming the series and the latter describes it as follows:
Erika Amano and Nagi Umino were unintentionally born together; one was brought up as the daughter of a hotel magnate, while the other was raised as the son of a diner owner. Their adoptive and biological parents propose an arranged engagement after they find out the truth. Now that they share a home, Nagi’s already complex existence attracts his classmate Hiro, his sister Sachi, who is not connected by blood, and soon even his childhood first love.In this romantic comedy, which is based on a case of mistaken identity, Nagi is surrounded by a complicated web of relationships, including a childhood friend, stepsister, crush, and fiancée.
