A Gentle Noble’s Vacation Recommendation anime revealed three additional cast members and featured them in a new visual on Friday. Joining the cast are Tetsuya Kakihara as Eleven, Jun Fukuyama as Studd, and Daiki Yamashita as Judge. The anime is slated to begin in January 2026.
Studio Synergy SP is animating the series with Ascension under the direction of Kenta Noda. Yosuke Suzuki is writing the script, Akito Fujiwara is designing the characters, and Kosuke Yamashita is composing the music. Soma Saito voices Lizel while Yuichiro Umehara voices Gil.
The anime is based on a light novel series written by Misaki. It was initially launched on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website. TO Books later acquired the title with illustrations by Sando, and it currently has 20 volumes in circulation.
There is also a manga adaptation by 8Key (composition) and Momochi (art), which began serialization on TO Books’ Nico Nico Seiga-based Comic Corona manga service in December 2018. The manga has 12 volumes currently available. Tokyopop is releasing it in English, describing the first volume of the series as:
When Lizel mysteriously finds himself in a city that bears odd similarities to his own but clearly isn’t, he quickly comes to terms with the unlikely truth: this is an entirely different world. Even so, laid-back Lizel isn’t the type to panic. He immediately sets out to learn more about this strange place, and to help him do so, hires a seasoned adventurer named Gil as his tour guide and protector.
Until he’s able to find a way home, Lizel figures this is a perfect opportunity to explore a new way of life adventuring as part of a guild. After all, he’s sure he’ll go home eventually… might as well enjoy the otherworldly vacation for now!
