A “New World” Appears in BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War Episode 46 Preview

BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War (TYBW) Part 4 has revealed the preview for Episode 6 (Episode 46 overall). The anime returned with the fourth and final cour, subtitled The Calamity, on July 25. It is set to run for 10 episodes. In the previous episode, Orihime took a stand after Ichigo’s new Blood Chains Bankai form proved to be no match for Yhwach.

The fifth episode is titled “THE END,” and it will premiere on Saturday, August 29. You can see the synopsis and preview images below.

Morning dawns over Wahrwelt, and before Ichigo stretches a “new world.” Though pained by the cruel reality before him, Ichigo still has a mission he must fulfill in order to save the Three Worlds. Meanwhile, the battle between Uryu and Haschwalth intensifies as it moves toward its conclusion. At last, the “End” that holds the fate of everything in its hands is about to begin.

Created by Tite Kubo, BLEACH was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from 2001 to 2016 and concluded with 74 volumes. The manga has exceeded 130 million copies in circulation worldwide, making it one of the best-selling manga series of all time.

The original anime adaptation aired from 2004 to 2012 and received four theatrical films. The franchise returned in 2022 with BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War, adapting the manga’s final arc. Its final part (Part 4) is set to release in July. Tite Kubo has confirmed it will include even more original material than the previous parts, expanding the manga’s final battles.

On a related note, BLEACH: Mirrors High revealed its protagonists in a new trailer, with the game featuring original character designs by Tite Kubo.
