A Returner’s Magic Should Be Special anime has released a character trailer for Romaintica Elle, voiced by Sayumi Suzushiro. Arvo Animation is animating the series under the direction of Taishi Kawaguchi. It will premiere this October.
Previously announced cast members include Takuma Terashima as Desir Herrman and Natsumi Fujiwara as Pram Schnaize. Takamitsu Kouno is in charge of the anime’s series composition and script writing, while Hiromi Kato is the character designer. Meanwhile, Kenta Higashiohji is on the music, Eiji Iwase on the art direction, and Takatoshi Hamano on sound direction.
A Returner’s Magic Should Be Special anime was first announced during AnimeJapan 2023. A character trailer for the main character Desir Herrman was previously released.
A Returner’s Magic Should Be Special anime is based on a webnovel by So-nan Yu and illustrated by Uk-jakga. It was first published on KakaoPage from September 2016 to August 2019. It then received a manhwa adaptation with illustration s by Wookjakga. KakaoPage began serialization of it on May 2018. It is published by Piccoma digitally and Kadokawa Shoten in print.
Yen Press has licensed the manhwa in English, describing it as:
