On 1 September 2020, the upcoming anime Adachi and Shimamura released a new promotional video. The new series is slated to premiere on October 8, 2020, which has been produced by Tezuka Productions under the direction of Satoshi Kuwabara. It will be streamed with English subtitles on Funimation, AnimeLab, and Wakanim. A new key visual was also revealed.
The opening theme song is performed by the main characters, Adachi (Akari Kitō) and Shimamura (Miku Itō) titled “Kimi ni Aeta Hi” (The Day I Met You) and the ending theme song is performed by Adachi (Akari Kitō) titled “Kimi no Tonari de” (Beside You).

Synposis
Known for skipping class on the regular, two girls lives become intertwined when they find each other on the second floor of the gym. From there, Adachi and Shimamura’s friendship slowly grows as they play ping-pong and hang out. But when something happens that changes their relationship, how will they react?
