Kohta Yamamoto announced on Twitter that the additional music recordings for the final season of Attack on Titan officially started! Hiroyuki Sawano is once again helping with the soundtrack. On the images taken during the recordings, we can see instruments such as strings, trumpets, trombones, and tubas.

The 2nd part of Attack on Titan: The Final Season will premiere on January 9, 2022, as revealed in the trailer you can watch below:
The Attack on Titan manga began serializing in September 2009 and officially ended on April 9, 2021. It also inspired an anime adaptation that finished airing the first part of its final, 4th season this Winter. A special event for the final season of the anime will also be held on November 14, 2021, in Japan.
