Akase Akari Cosplays Laila From Guild Receptionist Anime, She & Yu Serizawa Perform Character Dance

The official X (formerly Twitter) account for the I May Be a Guild Receptionist, but I’ll Solo Any Boss to Clock Out on Time anime series unveiled its collaboration with the popular cosplayer, actress, and singer Akase Akari last week. In cosplay, she danced to Laila’s upcoming Guild Receptionist character soundtrack, “Oshi wa Eiyuu,” performed by the character’s voice actor Yu Serizawa. Akase Akari performs Laila character dance to promote Guild Receptionist anime Blu-ray Volume 3’s release

Akari cosplays Laila below:

Akari’s dance racked up over 230k views across X and YouTube since its posting on February 7. Her cosplays have similarly gone viral. Her partnership to promote Laila’s “Oshi wa Eiyuu” character song comes ahead of the song’s full release alongside the anime’s Blu-ray Volume 3.

In addition to singing the song, Serizawa also performed the dance on Aniplex’s official YouTube channel. You can check it out below and stream the song’s short version on several platforms including Spotify, YouTube, and Apple Music.

Akari’s most notable anime involvement to date is as an ending song artist for My Dress-Up Darling. Her song “Koi no Yuku e” hit 10 million views in around 8 months following its release on January 8, 2022. It currently has nearly 16 million views as of February 19, 2025. Her Marin cosplays also achieved notable acclaim. Fans in the Philippines will be able to see Akari when she attends Cosplay Carnival 2025 in March.
