The voice actors of the main Arknights characters, Amiya and Ace, shared their thoughts regarding the anime adaptation of Arknights in short interviews. Director Yuki Watanabe and assistant director Masaki Nishikawa also shared their message to those looking forward to the TV anime.

Tomoyo Kurosawa is also known for voicing Swindler from Akudama Drive and Misaki Okusawa/Michelle from Bang Dream/Girls’ Band Party. On the other hand, Takashi Matsuyama also voiced Osamu from Ore, Tsushima, and Du Feld from One Piece.
Yuki Watanabe is directing Arknights: Prelude to Dawn at Yostar Pictures along with Masaki Nishikawa as the assistant director. They were also in charge of producing the event trailers and the special animation for the 1st anniversary.
Out of everything we’ve worked on, the 1st-anniversary animation “Holy Knight Light,” is the most similar to what we’re doing now.

Arknights is a free-to-play gacha tower defense mobile game developed by Chinese developer Hypergryph and distributed worldwide by Yostar. It launched in China in May 2019 and became available in other countries in January 2020. It is available to play on iOS and Android devices, as well as Windows via NoxPlayer.
Take on the role of a key member of Rhodes Island, a pharmaceutical company that fights both a deadly infection and the unrest it leaves in its wake. Together with your leader Amiya, you’ll recruit Operators, train them, then assign them to various operations to protect the innocent and resist those who would thrust the world into turmoil.
