Aniplex of America has announced the full schedule of special events and guests for Anime Expo 2024, which will run from July 4th to July 7th at the Los Angeles Convention Center in Los Angeles, California. It includes special events for series such as Blue Exorcist, Sword Art Online Alternative, Demon Slayer, and Fate Grand/Order. Special guests such as Japanese voice actors Natuski Hanae, Nobunaga Okamoto, and Tomori Kusonoki will be appearing.
Aniplex of America will have industry panels with studios A-1Pictures and CloverWorks, joined by Akira Shimizu, the president of A-1 Pictures Inc. and CloverWorks Inc. In the Aniplex of America and A-1 Pictures panel, fans can learn about Aniplex’s upcoming anime line-up. There will also be a special presentation for MASHLE: MUSCLE AND MAGIC. Joining them on the presentation are Director Tomonari Tanaka and Akihito Suzuki, the Director of Photography.
While at the CloverWorks Industry panel, the studio will introduce two new and upcoming anime titles, The Elusive Samurai and FURERU. There will also be a special feature for WINDBREAKER with special guests Yuichi Fukushima, the Executive Officer and Animation Producer, Toshikazu Tsuji, the General manager of Production and Animation Producer, and Character Designer Taishi Kawakami.
Aniplex of America will also have special events with the popular anime series Blue Exorcist, Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online II, and Demon Slayer. Nobuhiko Okamoto, the Japanese voice actor for Rin Okamura, will make his special appearance at the Blue Exorcist Special Event. At the event, fans can learn more about the next saga of the series and even get a sneak peek of the new Blue Exorcist game, Alterna Vvelt – Blue Exorcist Another Story-.
Japanese voice actress of LLENN, Tomori Kusunoki, will make a guest appearance at the Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online II event alongside Producer Wataru Hashimoto. They will be discussing the return of the series with special guest host Gigguk.
Coming every year, Fate Grand Order is returning with the FGO 7th Anniversary x TYPE MOON Projects Event! The event is hosted by Albert Kao, the Localization Producer of the Fate/Grand Order English version. Joining him are Japanese voice actors, Ayako Kawasumi, the voice of Altria Pendragon, Nobunaga Shimazaki, the voice of Arjuna, and Rumi Okubo, the voice of Astolfo. Part 2 Director of Fate/Grand Order, KANOU YOSHIKI, will also make his special appearance to talk about the franchise and other TYPE-MOON projects.
Demon Slayer will also be returning to Anime Expo once again with the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Fifth Anniversary Special Event. Fans can celebrate the fifth anniversary of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba with Japanese voice actors, Natsuki Hanae and Takahiro Sakurai, the voice of Tanjiro Kamado and Giyu Tomioka, and Aniplex Producer, Yuma Takahashi.
Fans can also look forward to Aniplex of America’s booth in Anime Expo’s Exhibit Hall. The booth will have free giveaway opportunities and fans can shop for exclusive merchandise. The booth will also have a mini-stage filled with special programs, appearances, and cosplay gatherings that fans can enjoy throughout the convention.
