The Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai (AoButa) Exhibition has unveiled a special finale illustration featuring Mai Sakurajima and Sakuta Azusagawa, commemorating the grand finale of the event. The exhibition, which first launched in March 2024, will conclude in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan, the ‘sacred setting’ of the series.
A Farewell Tribute – Finale Illustration by Satomi Tamura
To celebrate the final stop of the exhibition, AoButa character designer Satomi Tamura has created a special farewell illustration featuring Mai and Sakuta in formal clothes. In the artwork, Mai holds a bouquet of flowers, symbolizing a tribute to the complete journey of the series and a fitting send-off for the event.

What’s Next for AoButa?
While the AoButa Exhibition is ending and the original light novel series has concluded, the anime adaptation continues. The series, written by Hajime Kamoshida and illustrated by Keji Mizoguchi, has been a huge success since its first Dengeki Bunko light novel release in 2014, spanning 15 volumes. The anime adaptation by CloverWorks includes:
